Seattle’s Marshall Scott Warner has been a prolific vocalist and drummer for a great many bands in the past, playing with The Mercury Four, Wanda Jackson, and Moses and The Moongazers, performing a diverse roll of genres including country, rock, blues, R&B, and swing. His combination of American Roots styles mold him into one of rockabilly’s finest productions. Frequently heard on KEXP’s Shake the Shack, Warner has an expert croon and a taste for melodic swingin’ tunes that plays second fiddle to no one.
As the last act of the KEXP Ballard Day broadcast, Warner invited members of The Black Crabs, among others, to back him and together they turned the the Sunset Tavern into a swingin’ dance club. Check out the photos here:
