- Late next month, Arcade Fire are rereleasing their Grammy-winning album, The Suburbs, which will also include the Spike Jonze-directed short film, Scenes from the Suburbs, two new songs, “Culture War” and “Speaking in Tongues,” which features Talking Heads’ David Byrne on backup vocals.
- Psych-rock outfit Yeasayer debuted a brand-new track on last night’s episode of Conan, called “The Devil and the Deed”; a staccato synth-rock gem that adds considerable anticipation for the band’s next release. Watch:
- July 5 will see the release of Brian Eno‘s new collaborative album Drums Between the Bells with poet Rick Holland. Eno’s website is now sharing a non-album track in the form of “Imagine New Times”, recorded during the album sessions. The song features spoken word segments read over airy synths.
