Seattle’s The Head and the Heart have come a long way since their meeting at an open mic night, skyrocketing to stardom opening for Vampire Weekend and now playing the Main Stage at the 2011 Sasquatch! Music Festival. Their popularity was not understated by the crowd, impressively large for a 2:10 PM set. The band stomped and harmonized through a motley collection of songs from their debut record, inspiring a long line of people to dance arm-in-arm on the path below the Gorge’s hill.
