Vancouver’s Dan Mangan was right at home on the Yeti Stage at Sasquatch!, given the massive number of fellow Canadians that attended the festival. He wasted no time, opening with a prediction for a Stanley Cup victory for the Canucks, which caused the already excited crowd to scream in approval (looking good so far, too). But it was Mangan’s signature folk-rock that stole the show. Backed by a full band of percussion, brass, and a packed crowd more than willing to sing along, Mangan’s intimate lyrics soared.
