Dan Mangan Live @ Sasquatch! 2011

Vancouver’s Dan Mangan was right at home on the Yeti Stage at Sasquatch!, given the massive number of fellow Canadians that attended the festival. He wasted no time, opening with a prediction for a Stanley Cup victory for the Canucks, which caused the already excited crowd to scream in approval (looking good so far, too). But it was Mangan’s signature folk-rock that stole the show. Backed by a full band of percussion, brass, and a packed crowd more than willing to sing along, Mangan’s intimate lyrics soared.

If you missed Vancouver’s best kept secret, KEXP has the whole live performance here, for your listening pleasure.
