Iron & Wine Live @ Sasquatch! 2011

Iron & Wine has made headlines as the one-man folk band of years past, but Sam Beam’s project has expanded into a full funky rock band effort, showcased best on their 2011 album Kiss Each Other Clean. Sasquatch! saw the band’s new lineup rollick through a set of new songs and rehashed old hits, truly creating an Iron & Wine experience no one had seen before. KEXP is proud to bring you a podcast from this unique experience, live from the Sasquatch! main Stage.

I caught some of this on the live stream as I was driving home from a hike at Index... it made my drive! Sam’s the man. I was a little worried when he switched to Warner Bros., but the live show still prevails.
