England’s Noah and the Whale play a whimsical kind of folk-rock inspired by Wes Anderson films, and since their debut LP the band has had measured success in the UK and overseas. Fresh off the release of their third album Last Night on Earth, the British five-piece took the Bigfoot stage early in the day at Sasquatch! 2011. Playing in the sunshine to a sizable crowd, the band slowly built up energy during a set that featured a greatest-hits selection of songs from their entire discography, including popular single “5 Years Time” and a closing one-two punch of “Tonight’s the Kind of Night” and “L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N.”
