City Arts Festival 2011 schedule announced: Ryan Adams, Robyn, Built To Spill to headline

After tremendous success last year, the second annual Heineken City Arts Festival has announced their lineup. This year, the three-day fest will take place October 20-22, 2011, and will feature headlining acts Ryan Adams, Robyn, Built to Spill, Crystal Castles, and Ozomatli playing at venues as varied as Benaroya Hall, The Paramount Theatre, Showbox SoDo, and the Laser Dome, to name a few. Additional artists include Big Spider’s Back, Campfire OK, Daniel G. Harmann and the Trouble Starts, The Fastbacks Fences, Fucking Eagles, Grand Hallway, The Helio Sequence, Lemolo, The Long Winters, Man Man, Mudhoney, Pickwick, Seapony, Tea Cozies, The Cops, Thee Emergency, Unnatural Helpers, USF, Yuni in Taxco, and more. Participating venues this year include Benaroya Hall, Paramount, The Moore, Showbox Market, Showbox SoDo, Neumos, The Crocodile, Triple Door, SIFF Cinema, The Comet, Chop Suey, Northwest Film Forum, Velocity Dance Center, Theatre Off Jackson, Town Hall, FRED, The Can Can, and Rendezvous. Additionally, this year will see the inclusion of the Seattle Laser Dome, which plays host to “evening with” performances from the likes of Seattle’s School of Rock (performing grunge classics), Man Man and Helio Sequence, all set to their own customized laser light show.

3-day, all-access festival passes starting at $69 will go on sale on August 5th at the City Arts Festival website, but exclusive, discounted $60 passes are on sale NOW through AUGUST 4TH.
