Here are a few photos from last night’s opening of KEXP and Seattle Center’s Concerts at the Mural free weekly series. Black Whales opened the night, followed by Hey Marseilles and The Maldives. The Mural lawn was a packed with fans of all three bands and those who just wanted to enjoy a nice evening out.
Don’t forget that the 9th Annual KEXP BBQ starts today at 3PM. Get there early and enjoy a cold beverage and burgers from Skillet.

I guess I am not familiar with the concept of a musically metaphorical BBQ. That is the explanation given to me as why there was zero presence of barbeque. I guess I should have been concerned by the lack of details in the event description.
