This past weekend, KEXP listeners took over the Seattle Center’s Mural Ampitheater for a two-day thrill ride that included the first show in this year’s Concerts at the Mural series and the 9th Annual KEXP BBQ. Among the bands in attendance were Mad Rad, Hey Marseilles, The Maldives, Black Whales, Capsula, Virgin Islands, Fool’s Gold, Rainbow Arabia, and the Seattle School of Rock. Some rocked and rolled, some danced and popped, some even climbed the stage - but every band was on fire, and lit up the crowd accordingly. If you missed the shows, or want to relive the awesome, check out KEXP’s photo galleries of the events. And don’t forget to come back this Friday, as Concerts at the Mural continues!
