Last Friday, you couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening. While the rest of the country swelters, music fans in Seattle got to kick back on the Seattle Center lawn, in perfect 70-something degree weather, and listen as the sun went down to the summery vibes of three local bands -- Seapony, Gold Leaves, and Math & Physics Club -- all for free! We know it sounds to good to be true, so we tried to capture a bit of the magic through photos (which you can see here) and the video clips below. You won’t want to miss out the next time!
Fortunately, you’ll have a couple more chances as KEXP and Seattle Center present the last two shows of our free Concerts at the Mural series each Friday in August. This Friday, catch Black Mountain with My Goodness and Whalebones. Next Friday, the series concludes with a special night co-presented with No Depression, featuring Shane Tutmarc, Ravenna Woods, Pickwick, and Drew Grow & the Pastors’ Wives. We’ll see you there! For now, watch it here:
