Live Around Town This Week

The Decemberists performing at Sasquatch / photo by James Bailey

Another great week of music lies ahead. Monday starts off beautifully with The Decemberists and Okkervil River at Marymoor Park, and then we’ve got a complete mixed bag. There’s Tapes & Tapes at the Crocodile, Daniel Johnston at Neumo’s, and Cloud Cult at Neptune Theatre.  Friday is also our last (and arguably most anticipated) KEXP Mural show of the season, we are calling it “No Depression Night” and it features an amazing lineup of Pickwick Drew Grow & The Pastors’ Wives, and Ravenna Woods. Need more music after the Mural? Head over and see any one of a number of great shows later that night – Sleepy Eyes of Death (Final Show), Nazca Lines (CD Release), and even some Police Teeth. Saturday has something called the “Octopus Fest” with 8 bands and Terry Radjaw at the Lo-Fi, a free Wooden Shijps show at Neumo’s, and the chilled out “Slow Food Festival” all weekend at Stanwood Camano Community Fairgrounds. A little something for everyone this week, check out the full schedule below:
