Live Around Town This Week

With Labor Day Weekend and Bumbershoot ahead of us, it’s a busy time for music, so you’ll just have to pace yourself. Monday has Ravenna Woods and Motopony, and Tuesday is arguable one of the most kick-ass shows of the week -- Japandroids and Bass Drum of Death at Sunset. Surfer Blood‘s on Wednesday, Gold Leaves on Thursday, and Peaches on Friday, with a number of other choices available for just about any taste. Of course, the big news all weekend is the Bumbershoot Music Festival running Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. KEXP will be broadcasting live from the Bumbershoot Music Lounge all three days.
