Our final day broadcasting from the Music Lounge during the 2011 Bumbershoot Music & Arts festival was a blast... from the past, really, with 90′s alternative reformed rock groups Urge Overkill and Grant Lee Buffalo bookending three hip-shaking performances by the stirring old school soul singer Charles Bradley, the ecstatic new soulsters Fitz & The Tantrums, and darkly entrancing dance pop group Phantogram. Even with so much great music going under sunny skies on all the other stages during the festival, the Music Lounge was the place to be for intimate, engaging and even awe-inspiring sets.
