Live Around Town This Week

The weather has certainly gotten cooler, but that only means the concert season is heating up. Just another fantastic week of music here in the Northwest. Fresh off their amazing Bumbershoot performance, Davila 666 are back in town at the Rendezvous on Monday, the Junior Boys bring some of their electronic wizardry to Neumo’s on Tuesday, and believe it or not, The Flaming Lips and Le Butcherettes do the Puyallup” on Wednesday. The 24th Annual Shake the Shack Rockabilly Ball starts on Thursday and runs thru Saturday – a music series so cool it even has it’s own car show! On Friday, Point Juncture WA is at the Sunset, and Active Child/Chad Valley are at the Crocodile. On Saturday, Braids and Pepper Rabbit are at the Sunset, James Blake is at the Showbox, and Carissa’s Weird are at Neumo’s. There’s also a Benefit for Mark Giese featuring Grand Hallway, The Maldives, and others at Columbia City Theater.
