Live Video: KEXP at MFNW, Friday & Saturday

The Antlers, photo by Brittney Bollay

Last weekend, KEXP followed up the Seattle broadcast during Bumbershoot with another broadcast from Portland during MusicfestNW. Live from the Doug Fir, we hosted 12 more fantastic bands, including Explosions in the Sky, The Horrors, The Antlers, and Rhett Miller. You’ve already seen the videos from Thursday, which featured Little Dragon, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Sebadoh, and Blind Pilot. Now, a slew of videos from the rest of the weekend are at your fingertips. Below, witness Dan Mangan drench himself in reverb during an acoustic set; The Horrors singlehandedly bring back 80′s new wave; The Antlers show off their rockin’ chops; Rhett Miller croon with insane vocal tenacity; veritable orchestra Typhoon swarm the stage with about four hundred members; The Moondoggies get psychedelic with a nine-minute jam; and Avi Buffalo rip and shred with youthful exuberance.

Possibly. We’ve posted one from each band that allowed us to shoot video. Which of these do you want to see more of?

More Rhett Miller, please. His performance are always worth another look or three. How many songs did each artist perform?
