To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nirvana’s Nevermind, VH1 Classic will televise a special, hour-long never-before-seen concert tonight. Filmed barely a month after the album’s release, Nirvana: Live At The Paramount captures the band’s the Halloween night concert in 1991 at Seattle’s Paramount Theater. The footage is outstanding. It’s apparently the only Nirvana show ever shot on 16mm film! You’re not going to want to miss Kurt, Krist and Dave tear through “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “Sliver,” “Blew,” “Territorial Pissings” and many others like they’re brand new. And it wouldn’t be a Nirvana show without a good bit of property damage!
Nirvana: Live At The Paramount makes its world debut tonight on VH1 Classic at 11 PM ET/PT (simulcast on VH1 and Palladia). Check out the exclusive clip above and watch the whole thing tonight.
