Live Around Town This Week

Just a few crucial days left until “Rocktober,” one of our favorite times for music here in the Northwest. For the final push of September, we have some amazing choices to start the week and finish out the month. On Monday, there’s the first of two nights with one of KEXP’s favorites, Joseph Arthur, at the Triple Door; Bon Iver is at the Paramount, Weekend is at the Crocodile, and French band Revolver is back in town at the Sunset. Tuesday, we’ve got the second night of Joseph Arthur, Twin Shadow at the Crocodile, Zach Smith from Pinback’s solo project Systems Officer at the Sunset, and Gomez at the Showbox — with them is a new band worth checking out called The Kopecky Family Band, who you can hear live on KEXP that day. On Wednesday, Bright Eyes play the Paramount, and Toro Y Moi are at the Crocodile. On Thursday, we kick off the first of four days of Seattle’s premiere International Festival of Electronic Music: Decibel, now in its eighth year and going stronger than ever. Make sure to catch another KEXP favorite, Grouplove, at Vera on Friday, and any one of a number of cool local shows on Saturday too. But this is just the start of the insanity, here’s the full schedule for the week:
