Last month, KEXP returned to New York City for three days of live broadcasting during the 2011 CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival. Hosted by Ace Hotel and sponsored by Toyota Free Yr Radio, KEXP held intimate live performances from the lobby of the Ace Hotel New York.
The first day of these performances saw an all-star lineup that included goth-pop priestess Zola Jesus, Pela-alumni We Are Augustines, psychedelic art-rockers Portugal. The Man, and Brooklyn indie rockers Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. Thanks to all who came out with us to enjoy these amazing acts, and a huge thank you to all of our listeners who tuned in!
