Today, we reached another milestone in our progress toward our move to the Seattle Center. KEXP Executive Director Tom Mara met with Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn, members of the city council and of the Seattle Center committee to sign the official lease right on the spot of our new home in the Northwest Rooms. Watch now as Robert Nellams, Director of the Seattle Center, welcomes Tom Mara, Mayor McGinn and everyone to this exciting new location. We wish to thank all of them and all of your for your continued support as KEXP takes a bold new step toward our future.

Just wanting to congratulate everyone concerned with this amazing achievement, I hope to visit Seattle late next year and for sure I’ll be dropping in at KEXP to check it all out. Although I live a long way from Seattle, I am aware of just how much great music that has come from this city over the years and continue to look forward to the new Artists that will come through in the future. Of course I’ll hear it all on KEXP.
I listen online at least 10 hours a week and enjoy pretty much everything you do and find that alternative a big plus that does make a difference and keeps me aware of what’s happening with New and Current Artists.
I’m a Subscriber and will continue to support such a Great organisation that KEXP is. See you in 2012. Job well done.
