No, that’s not the sensation of looking at rainbows, eating apple pie and Skittles while sitting in a field of puppies -- that’s Real Estate live in the KEXP studio. Recently, the Garden State trio, extended now to a five-piece, brought their slightly melancholy yet buoyantly joyful sound to the Midday Show with Cheryl Waters. Between songs performed from their excellent newly released self-titled debut, the band discussed whether or not their band name, or at least their next album, should in fact be called “Rainbow Season.” You can listen to the entire dreamy performance here and check out the videos from the session here:

Real Estate’s new album is not their self-titled debut, but rather Days (2011). Most if not all these songs are off Days.
Thanks for catching that brain fart.
Love, love, love this music! Thanks for sharing it ))))))
