
- The highly-anticipated new Black Keys album El Camino was finally released on Tuesday. Reaction has been spreading it’s way throughout the world wide interwebs, and soon that little mini news feed bar on your Facebook page will be filled with notifications of all your friends Spotify-ing the hell out of the new tracks. The ‘Keys themeself have also taken to making the publicity rounds, appearing on SNL, Letterman, and The Colbert Report. - M83 put out one of the best albums of 2011 in Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming. Staring January 12, they’ll be embarking on a massive world tour that will bring them to The Neptune in Seattle on April 24. The show at The Neptune will barely be five months removed from their amazing performance at Neumos in November. Read a review of that show here.
- Last year’s hit IFC show Portlandia will be kicking off Season 2 on January 6. We’ve already gotten word of all the guest appearance set for Season 2, and now we have a few clips of what’s to come. One preview, called “Wanna Come To My DJ Night?” requires a “liking” of the show on Facebook, but you can watch Armisen and Brownstein’s adventure to the dog park right here:
