  • The highly-anticipated new Black Keys album El Camino was finally released on Tuesday. Reaction has been spreading it’s way throughout the world wide interwebs, and soon that little mini news feed bar on your Facebook page will be filled with notifications of all your friends Spotify-ing the hell out of the new tracks. The ‘Keys themeself have also taken to making the publicity rounds, appearing on SNL, Letterman, and The Colbert Report. Watch the hilarious interview with Colbert here and see what question leaves Auerbach and Carney speechless:

  • More top 50 albums of the year lists: click here for Stereogum’s rankings, and here for Rolling Stone’s top picks. They have Girls and Adele finishing number one, respectively.
  • M83 put out one of the best albums of 2011 in Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming. Staring January 12, they’ll be embarking on a massive world tour that will bring them to The Neptune in Seattle on April 24. The show at The Neptune will barely be five months removed from their amazing performance at Neumos in November. Read a review of that show here.
