- Sigur Rós has emerged from hibernation and will play their first show since 2008 at Bestival on the Isle of Wight in the UK. They’ve announced that there will be more tour dates via their web site.

- Veteran fuzz-rockers The Jesus and Mary Chain announced a few shows to coincide with SXSW in March. This will be the first time the Reid brothers have performed since 2008.
