Congratulations to Bon Iver for winning two Grammys last night for New Artist and Alternative Album! While this year’s nominees included a healthy dose of KEXP favorites -- Fleet Foxes, The Decemberists, The Black Keys, Wilco, Death Cab for Cutie, My Morning Jacket, Radiohead, Foster The People, and so on -- only Bon Iver emerged victorious. Overall, Adele and Foo Fighters took home buckets of awards and Kanye West grabbed Best Rap Album, while other KEXP-friendly artists scored wins in a variety of categories: Levon Helm for Best Americana Album, Booker T. Jones for Best Pop Instrumental Album, Tinariwen for Best World Music Album, Rebirth Brass Band for Best Regional Roots Music Album. Check out the full list of nominees and winners here.
