- Following up their recent Grammy win, Bon Iver just released a new video for their latest single, “Towers.” Once again, frontman Justin Vernon worked with Nabil Elderkin, who also directed Bon Iver’s Icelanderiffic “Holocene” video. Check out the new video now:
- Speaking of Iceland, the country’s premier music festival, Iceland Airwaves, has announced the first ten artists of its 2012. Among them are several artists already featured on KEXP: Sóley, Prinspóló, and Samaris.
- Beck just asserted himself as a Kanye of the rock realm - he designed a pair of sunglasses. Not saying Kanye designed a pair himself, it just sounds like something he would do. It took two years to design the glasses and they’re now on sale for $595 here. Maybe Sasquatch should bundle them with their four-day passes.

- Great news! The Walkmen have finished their new album (recorded right here in the Northwest!). Here is a tweet from the band: “Cant believe the album is done. Looking forward to toronto and philly annivesary shows next weekend to debut some of the brand new songs.”

- EMP’s Sound Off had their final semi-final this weekend. My band Feet actually won while Special Explosion came in second and earned a spot in the finals via the wild card process. Cassiopeia and Your Rival also played awesome sets. Be sure to come to the finals on March 3rd.
