The song is called “Enchantruss”, and features a contribution from Palaceer Lazaro of Shabazz Palaces. Along with the lead single from the album “QueenS”, awE naturalE is looking more and more awesome. It is available for download here.
  • The video for “DoYaThing”, the collaboration track between Gorillaz, James Murphy, and Andre 3000, was released a couple days ago. Jamie Hewlett, Damon Albarn’s long time Gorillaz artist, directs the video. • Sufjan Stevens is reportedly back at it, working on a collaboration with abstract rapper Serengeti and electronic artist Son Lux. They are putting together a four song EP called Beak & Claw. Look for it, out on Anticon on March 20.
  • In other music video news, Santigold has released a self-directed video for “Disparate Youth”. The song is the second release from her upcoming, much anticipated album Master of My Make-Believe. Watch it below:

  • Warner Music, on the behalf of Don Henley of The Eagles, has threatened to sue Frank Ocean over his use of the master track for “Hotel California” in his crooner “American Wedding”. The song was released on Ocean’s 2011 album Nostalgia, Ultra, which was released for free online. The album also featured samples of Coldplay, MGMT, and Radiohead. Warner says that if Ocean continues to play the song live, that they will press charges. On the other hand, MGMT say that they really dig Frank’s use of “Electric Feel” in his song “Nature Feels”.
  • The Shins are featured in a new Funny or Die clip, in which the band records the more obscure instrument samples for their new release Port of Morrow (out March 20). James Mercer has difficulty getting the claps just right, and in turn, uses clapping butter. Watch below:
