Live Around Town This Week

This week starts off with a bang with a show by the hugely popular Icelandic band Of Monsters and Men, at Showbox Sodo. If you’re a KEXP listener you know just how much we love this great Icelandic band. This is a can’t miss! Speaking of can’t misses, on Tuesday, THEESatisfaction is giving a free performance at the Queen Anne Easy Street Records, Point Juncture WA is at the Comet Tavern, and Poor Moon is at the Tractor with Lost In The Trees and Low Hums. On Wednesday, The Ting Tings are at Showbox at the Market, Howler is at the Sunset, and Eligh and AMP Live are playing at the Crocodile. On Thursday, a great show at Neumo’s with THEESatisfaction, OC Notes, and Chocolate Chuck, with Ambulance, Ghost Animals, Cat From Hue, and Kithkin all playing across the street at the Comet Tavern. On Friday, Jim White, Kris Orlowski, and Kate Tucker are at Columbia City Theater, Ravenna Woods and Redwood Plan are at Vera Project, The Purrs are at Comet Tavern, Megafaun, and Field Report are at Tractor. Saturday night, The Lumineers are at Neumo’s, Carolina Chocolate Drops, and  Shook Twins are at Showbox at the Market, and last but not least (and certainly the loudest),  Helms Alee, Sandrider, Thrones, and Land of Pines turn it to “11” at Comet Tavern.
