  • I’m not even joking.  A new My Bloody Valentine record could drop in the next few months. Now if only The Pixies would follow suit, my musical education would come full circle.  New album details here.
  • SASQUATCH! MUSIC FESTIVAL TICKETS SOLD OUT!  However,  a limited amount of VIP Supertickets still remain available at
  • Although it is too early to see what direction the film will take (literal, autobiographical, multi-dimensional),  Bob Dylan’s classic album, Blood on the Tracks, is set to be adapted into a movie.  Film details here.
  • Looking for something post-Lana Del Rey?  2010 hype darlings Marina & the Diamonds are set to re-ingratiate themselves with music blogs everywhere with their new album, Electra Heart, due out on April 30.  Album details can be found here; also, check out their single, Primadonna:

  • Color-coordinated Swedes The Hives are set to return with their latest offering in five years, Lex Hives, this coming June.  Track listings and other details can be found here.
