Talk about a strong start to the week. We start off Monday night with one of the biggest acts to come to Seattle this year, Radiohead, performing to a sold out Key Arena. Also in town, Band of Skulls and We Are Augustines are at Neptune Theatre, while Andrew Bird is at the Paramount Theatre, and Codeine is at the Sunset. On Tuesday night, Miike Snow and Penguin Prison are at the Paramount, Explosions In The Sky is at the Moore, Gotye with Kimbra are at Showbox SoDo, and Fanfarlo is at the Crocodile with Gardens and Villa. Wednesday has a couple interesting choices: First Aid Kit and Peggy Sue at the Crocodile or Thomas Dolby at Showbox at the Market. Thursday is another busy night with another amazing show of the week by Elvis Costello & The Imposters performing at the Paramount. Champagne Champagne and Deadkill are at Neumo’s, Tomten, Eighteen Individual Eyes, and Ruler are at Tractor, Hayes Carll and Zoe Muth perform at the Triple Door, and Ubik, Kinski, Elk Rider, and Princess are all at Comet Tavern. Friday night features a great local show with BOAT, Bottomless Pit, Police Teeth, and The Bismarck at Sunset Tavern, and across town Bear In Heaven, Doldrums, and Blouse are at the Crocodile.
