  • The Dirty Projectors — sans vocalist Angel Deradoorian (pictured above), who is on hiatus — have just announced a huge summer tour with openers Wye Oak and Purity Ring to follow suit.  A full track list, as well as tour dates and presale information, can be found here.
  • Feist and Mastodon’s upcoming collaborative effort, Feistodon, in which they come together to cover each other’s material, now comes with an equally amalgamated album cover.  I just wonder whose tongue is featured on the cover.  See the new album cover here.

  • Say it ain’t so, Damon Albarn.  The Gorillaz and Blur frontman recently divulged that it is highly unlikely that there will be any more new material from either project.  Hard ultimatum?  Or musical rope-a-dope?  Read about Albarn’s feelings on both projects here.
  • Hot on the heels of reports that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are dating, it is now reported that Axl Rose and Lana Del Ray are now dating.  I guess we should’ve seen the signs:
