  • Today on the Midday Show, Cheryl waters premiered the title track to the forthcoming album by The Walkmen (due June 5). If you missed it or want to listen to it again, here’s “Heaven”:

  • The Temper Trap’s self-titled second studio album will be out a couple weeks earlier, on May 21, , but you can check out their newest single, “Need Your Love,” today:

  • Kurt Cobain’s “White Album?!?”  Former Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson recently revealed that a whole album’s worth of solos hinting at Cobain’s new musical direction was recorded back in 1994.  Details here.
  • Missed Coachella this weekend?  Missed YouTube’s streaming of Coachella this weekend? has an extensive collection of full performances from artists such as A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, and Santigold here.
  • Editors guitarist Chris Urbanowicz has parted ways with the band, citing conflicts with their future musical direction.  Details about the breakup, as well as future plans for the Editors, can be found here:
