  • Vampire Weekend bassist Chris Baio is releasing a solo EP under the name Baio. The Sunburn EP will be an electronically-driven project with Vampire Weekend’s usual prep/tropical vibe seen throughout. The EP comes out on May 21st. Listen to the lead track “Tanto” below, featuring Matias Aguayo:

  • Despite Damon Albarn’s recent claims that the band is no more, Blur will be releasing a massive career-spanning box set called Blur 21 on July 30. It holds each of their 7 albums, each with a 2nd disc of b-sides and demos. Then, there are an addition 4 discs of other rarities and several DVDs of performances, music videos, and the like. Blur 21 will also be available as a vinyl box set of their 7 albums, so now you can burn your needle out listening to “Girls and Boys” on repeat.

  • Experimental hip hop group Death Grips have released an official video for their seriously catchy song “I’ve Seen Footage”. If you haven’t checked these guys out yet, “I’ve Seen Footage” is the perfect place to start. The song comes from their upcoming album The Money Store, out this Tuesday April 24th. Check out the video below:

  • Kool A.D. of Das Racist is releasing a new album this Tuesday, April 24th. Yes, it’s only been 3 months since his mixtape The Palm Wine Drinkard came out, but he’s back again. The record is called 51 and you can head over to Pitchfork to grab the lead single “Ticky Ticky” for free. If you are a fan of the Das Racist gang, it’s just as chilled-out and trippy as you’ve probably come to expect.
