Earlier in our coverage of Record Store Day 2012, KEXP has covered both the full list of record exclusives and live events around Seattle; however, amidst the many, many special releases available this weekend, we’ve highlighted the vinyl releases that we’re super excited about.

Arcade Fire – “Sprawl II” (Mountains Beyond Mountains)

Mastodon/The Flaming Lips/Feist – “A Spoonful Weighs A Ton” & “A Commotion/Black Tongue” 7″

Courtesy of Warner Bros. Records.  Mastodon offer a pair of unlikely covers releases with The Flaming Lips and Feist.  The Flaming Lips one is backed by the original, while the Feist one is backed by Mastodon’s “Black Tongue”

Pains of Being Pure At Heart – Acid Reflex 12″ EP

Courtesy of Play It Again Sam Records.  Twin Shadow, Violens, St. Etienne, and Washed Out offer up their takes on various tracks from the band’s 2011 record Belong.

School of Seven Bells – “Kiss Them for Me” 7″
