By now, either through the Twitterverse, Facebook, text message, or through a co-worker’s passionate chain email, the sad news that Adam Yauch aka MCA of the Beastie Boys has succumbed to his fight with cancer is reverberating throughout the music industry.  Details surrounding his death can be found here.  He, along with Adam Horovitz (Ad-Rock) and Mike Diamond (Mike D) co-founded the Beastie Boys in the late 1970’s, beginning first as an underground punk band before embracing their ultimate destiny as hip-hop pioneers, becoming the first successful (and good) white act in the genre’s history.  Gathered here are videos spanning the artist’s discography, from License to Ill, Paul’s Boutique, Ill Communication, to To the 5 Boroughs.
