Dylan Baldi and the rest of Cloud Nothings have had a stellar year thus far. Taking his project to the road, his live show has been getting great reviews and his album Attack On Memory has been receiving much deserved attention. And now, we at KEXP have record of it! Cloud Nothings stopped by KEXP recently and played a fantastic set, which you can watch below.
Cloud Nothings were originally a one man project, but now, their unique blend of indie rock, punk, grunge, and alternative are a force to be reckoned with. Attack On Memory is one of our favorite rock records of the year, thus far, and for good reason. The album is an experimental, ecstatic journey through rock history with nods to all of Baldi’s influences. Live, Cloud Nothings sound even better. Guitars are crisper and the body of their sound is fuller and richer.
Cloud Nothings will be back in Seattle for the Capitol Hill Block Party! Until then, watch their set at KEXP below:

Yeah! Cloud Nothings rule.
Seen these guys twice live, and right up there with GnR, Cage the Elephant and Iggy when it comes to pure energy in their performance. Best new rocker band since CTE in my opinion. Can’t wait to see them again. Good luck to them during their tour of Europe. Say hello to Laura Mary Carter, and give her a hug from me and Cleveland.
