The world was saddened Sunday evening when Robin Gibb, co-founder of The Bee Gees, died at the age of 62 from his battle with cancer. Details surrounding his death can be garnered here. One of the most successful pop groups of all time, The Bee Gees single-handedly spread disco fever across radio, dance floors, and movie screens with hits like “Stayin’ Alive,” “Jive Talkin,” and “Night Fever.” Robin served as key songwriting partner alongside his brother and bandleader Barry. Outside of the group, Gibb cultivated a successful solo career as well, penning career highlights such as “Saved By the Bell” in the late 60′s, and “Juliet” and “Boys Do Fall in Love” in the late 80′s. Robin Gibb leaves Barry as the sole surviving member; their other brother, Maurice, passed in 2003. Gathered here are singles spanning the artist’s discography.
