  • Best Coast have finally created a video to go along with the title track single off their new album The Only Place. The song itself is an unapologetic love poem written to California, so naturally, the video is only more so. Bethany Consentino and Bob Bruno will melt your hearts on the beach, in the back yard, and driving down beautiful California highways as they celebrate the only place they want to live. Watch it below!

  • Nigel Godrich’s new project UltraĆsta has a new track out called “Static Light”. As they did with first track “Small Talk”, the song comes with a tripped out, bright video visual. “Static Light” is heavy on the beat and the thick, disorienting texture, but the melody is gorgeous. I’d say UltraĆsta is 2 for 2 so far!

  • David Byrne and St. Vincent are teaming up for a collaborative album and tour! The record, Love This Giant, comes out September 11 on 4AD Records. The duo will then go on a short North American tour together, including a stop in Seattle in October! From the duo’s new website, you can download the first single, “Who,” right now:
