CHBP 2012 begins!

photos by Morgen Schuler

After a morning of heavy rains, Seattle dried off just in time for the 2012 Capitol Hill Block Party. The crowds are filling up now as Father John Misty, Deadkill and NĂ¼ Sensae open the stages. Down in Barboza, beneath Neumos, KEXP is broadcasting for the first of three days, with Florida band Crystal Stilts kicking it off. Fitz & the Tantrums will be up next on the KEXP Barboza stage at 5:30PM before closing the Main Stage later tonight. Other highlights of the day include Fresh Espresso, Fly Moon Royalty, Light Asylum, Thee Oh Sees, Doomtree, Allen Stone and many others! Check out the KEXP Blog regularly for updates.
