  • (Seeing as Divine Fits continue to release promotional trailers and special announcements what feels like every other day, I’ve constructed my very own “Hey Look There’s A New ________ From Divine Fits” template for all future blog posts. It reads as follows:) Indie-rock supergroup Divine Fits released a new (choose one) promotional trailer /tour dates / single today. The group, made up of Spoon frontman Britt Daniels, Dan Boeckner of Wolf Parade and The Handsome Furs, and New Bomb Turks’ drummer Sam Brown, has garnered a lot of hype in anticipation of their debut album A Thing Called Divine Fits, due out August 28 via Merge Records. We’re really excited for it and you should be too. (Description of aforementioned new announcement:) The third teaser to date features a series of ghastly patterns projected onto a women’s face while an unreleased Divine Fits song plays in the background. Check out the video below, and head over to their website for more Divine Fits miscellany.
