Animal Collective fans ought to cancel their Sunday night plans for the next couple of weeks and tune into the group’s radio show, appropriately titled Animal Collective Radio. The weekly five hour program is scheduled to run every Sunday night from 9 P.M. to 2 A.M. beginning this Sunday and going until August 19 and is said to include guest appearances from Haunted Graffiti and Sublime Frequencies. The group, made up of Spoon frontman Britt Daniels, Dan Boeckner of Wolf Parade and The Handsome Furs, and New Bomb Turks’ drummer Sam Brown, has garnered a lot of hype in anticipation of their debut album A Thing Called Divine Fits, due out August 28 via Merge Records. We’re really excited for it and you should be too. - Avant-garde DJ and producer Flying Lotus has released a new mixtape available for free download on his website titled Lovers Melt Pt. III. The free release follows two previous mixtapes, titled Lovers Melt, originally produced as a series of podcasts for Stones Throw, and the two-and-a-half-hour-long Lovers Melt 2.
