The Young Evils have a far from evil stage presence, even despite their not always so sunny lyrics. Known instead for their infectious melodies and nearly deadpan male/female vocals, via fronting duo Troy Nelson and Mackenzie Mercer, the Seattle band brought to the Bumbershoot Music Lounge a typically youthful energy to the Bumbershoot Music Lounge as they performed songs from their most recent album, Foreign Spells, plus a new song from their forthcoming album, due out in January.
