New Music: Dum Dum Girls – End of Daze EP

Dee Dee and company are back next week with the new Dum Dum Girls EP End of Daze. We heard a couple of these tracks when Dum Dum Girls played the Little Big Show back in July. Then, just a couple weeks ago, the band dropped the fantastic new track “Lord Knows,” which has all the haunting shoegaze magic of the most memorable cuts from 2011’s wonderful LP Only In Dreams. With the other four, Dum Dum Girls continue similar, yet ever engaging territory.

The band is currently streaming the whole EP through Stereogum (you can listen below). Make sure to check out the single “Lord Knows” and the awesome closer “Season In Hell.” The band also covers Scottish 80s band Strawberry Switchblade with third song “Trees and Flowers”. You can preorder the EP on CD or vinyl through Sub Pop. They are fresh out of the “Loser” edition colored vinyl, but if you stop by your local record store on release day September 25, you might get lucky and find one.Enjoy End of Daze below:
