As you’ve probably heard by now, this is the final year for the infamous Shake the Shack Rockabilly Ball. Sadly, this also means it’s your last chance to check out its sister event, the Shake the Shack Car Show, held at Bogart’s Airport Way (formerly Goldie’s) at 3924 Airport Way South in Seattle!
Currently in its ninth year, the Shake the Shack Car Show has given local hot rod aficionados a chance to gather, show off their cars, and hear some really great rockabilly music! Do you have a jaunty jalopy? The car show is open to all vehicles whose owners feel they are special enough to be shown! Trophies, awards and dash plaques will be awarded to top entrants. (Note: there is a $10 fee to participate.)
As always, the car show is FREE to attend, all ages, and open to the public! Plus, the fun goes on all day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, so we strongly suggest you gather up the kiddos and join us!
Music starts at 12 PM with:
INSIDE STAGE
• 12 PM - Lustre Kings
• 1 PM - Mercury Four
• 2 PM - The Slooches
• 3 PM - Stafford & the Bentz Brothers
• 4 PM - John Hammock & the Rooster Run Band
• 5 PM - Banzai Surf
BEER GARDEN

• 1:30 PM - Speedmop
• 2:30 PM - F-Holes
• 3:30 PM - Hard Money Saints

I can’t believe the Shake the Shack Rockabilly Ball and Car Show are no more. I attended the last few years but could not make it this year. I have had some of the best times attending these events. Hopefully someone can put something similar together in the future.
Take care
