  • Hot off the release of their newest album Shields, Grizzly Bear have released a video for the album track “Yet Again”. The Black Swan-reminiscent video follows the endeavors of a tense figure skater who caves into her pressure, falls through an ice rink, and then proceeds to wander through a carnival. Watch the Emily Kai Bock-directed clip below:

  • Crystal Castles will release the follow up to 2010’s Crystal Castles (II) in November when they return with the aptly-titled (III), due November 5th through Fiction/Universal/Casablanca. Two tracks from the album, “Plague” and “Wrath Of God”, have been released from the album, and the pair will embark on a tour to promote (III) starting in Charlotte, N.C. tonight. They’ll make a stop in Seattle at Showbox SoDo on October 25th, and you can listen to “Wrath of God” below.

  • Unhappy that the other three members of New Order are out touring under the seminal post-punk band’s name, former New Order bassist Peter Hook has decided to also go on tour playing New Order songs. Along with his backing band The Light, Hook will play the New Order albums Movement and Power, Corruption & Lies live at the beginning of next year in London and Manchester respectively. Hook and The Light had previously played a series of shows featuring full performances of Joy Division’s Unknown Pleasures, Closer, and Still.
  • To mark the launch of the latest leg of their U.S. tour, Tennis have released a cover of Television’s 1977 classic “Guiding Light”. The cover keeps most of the original’s qualities intact, but Alaina Moore’s vocals and Patrick Riley’s guitar infuse a lo-fi pop element to the Marqueen Moon highlight. Listen to it below:
