The Final Countdown... of the Last 40 Years on KEXP

Thank you so much to everyone who supported KEXP in our successful Fall Fundraising Drive! You all truly power KEXP and allow us to continue to foster music discovery by listeners all over the world!

As you heard last week, we counted down the top albums of the past 40 years -- since the station began as KCMU in 1972 -- as voted on by you, our listeners. Finishing the Drive on Friday, we ended with the top album, Nirvana‘s Nevermind, an undeniable hallmark of Seattle’s music history. Here’s the rest of the Top 20 albums:
