FIDLAR at Wonder Ballroom during MFNW

  • The forever punk garage rockers of FIDLAR released a brash and energetic new track from their upcoming LP yesterday: “White on White”. They’ve been on tour with this material for the past few months, alongside other KEXP favorites The Hives and Jeff the Brotherhood (In-studio on October 14th), so it might not seem new. Stereogum’s got their tour dates + track list.

  • This video of Arcade Fire‘s new song “Crucified Again” surfaced earlier. While the song actually debuted before now, this is the first video of it we’ve seen. It’s a ballad of a song, singing about TV religion – in a manner similar to their entire The Suburbs album.

  • You can finally stream the REWORK_Philip Glass Remixed over at NPR. The album featured selected remixes of his work by musicians such as the albums curator Beck, Pantha du Prince, Nosaj Thing, and Dan Deacon. From the minimalist composer to his busiest fans, the compilation is pretty incredibly diverse.
  • Austin City Limits finally got the video of Radiohead‘s performance together, and you can watch it below. As if I needed to say much more about Radiohead, the set list includes Bloom, Identikit, Idioteque, and Paranoid Android.

  • Sufjan Stevens announced a winter tour this November-December, and of course it’s called “Surfjohn Stevens Christmas Sing-A-Long: Seasonal Affective Disorder Yuletide Disaster Pageant on Ice”. So it will have sing-a-longing and other types of longing. Check out the video below, and get the tour dates and info on the box set he’s releasing over at Pitchfork.
