The cold has snapped back here in Seattle but we’ve got a great week of shows ahead. The bar gets set high early with The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Quasi at the Crocodile on Tuesday night. On Wednesday night, Titus Andronicus and Ceremony are at Neumos, and Milo Greene and Bahamas are at the Crocodile. A great night out on Thursday with Northwest favorites Japandroids with Bleached at Neumos. Elliott BROOD and Wintersleep are at Columbia City Theater, Diamond Rings are at the Crocodile, and Rebirth Brass Band with Tubaluba are at Sunset Tavern. On Friday, we’ve got a highly anticipated night at the Showbox at the Market with Benjamin Gibbard and Damien Jurado. Taj Mahal Trio starts the first of three nights at Jazz Alley, and Onuinu and Gems are downstairs at Barboza. On Saturday night, The Coup, Hi Life Soundsystem and Kung Foo Grip are at the Crocodile, and Minus The Bear, Cursive, and Girl in a Coma are at Showbox at the Market. There’s another show with Benjamin Gibbard at Washington Hall, while Tender Hips, Boat Party, and Chastity Belt at the Rendezvous, and Fearce & BeanOne, The Bad Tenants, Irukandji Physics of Fusion, and Global Heat are all at Nectar. On Sunday night, you can see The Internet at Crocodile. Here’s the full list of recommended shows for the week:
