A limited but fun calendar this week, starting with Yuni in Taxco, The Torn ACLs, and The Groundblooms at Sunset Tavern on Monday night. On Tuesday, Ty Segall, Night Beats, and Sandrider are at Neumos. On Thursday, Lavender Diamond and Shelby Earl are at Sunset Tavern. The weekend kicks off with a Tribute to Harry Smith’s Anthology of American Folk Music, hosted by Greg Vandy with Baby Gramps, The Horde & The Harem, The Sumner Brothers, Led to Sea, Washover Fans, Annie Ford Band, Liam Fitzgerald, Atlas Stringband, Jenny Ritter, Les Chattes Creoles, Canote Brothers, and Jacob Miller & The Bridge City Crooners at Columbia City Theater. The Swearengens, Jackrabbit, and Betsy Olson are also at Sunset Tavern. On Saturday, David Bazan Band (playing Pedro the Lion’s Control) and Stagnant Pools are at Neptune Theatre, and JD McPherson, The Tripwires, and Sarah Gwen are at Neumos.
