After emerging in 2011, Youth Lagoon's Trevor Powers has set a release date for the follow-up to his debut. Entitled Wondrous Bughouse, the ten-track LP will arrive on March 5th via Fat Possum. Powers hasn't released any music from the new disc yet, but you can check out the tracklisting and artwork over at Pitchfork.

Vampire Weekend took a break from working on their third full-length late this year to play Pitchfork Music Festival and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, but they buckled down immediately afterwards, and as Q Magazine reports, they're almost done. Produced by Ariel Rechtshaid and recorded in New York City and Los Angeles, the still-untitled third disc could arrive as early as Spring, according to frontman Ezra Koenig. Koenig also said the album was "dark", which isn't a word many would associate with Vampire Weekend, so expect a bit of change of pace from the last two albums. You can watch a clip of the band playing new song "Unbelievers", which may or may not end up on the third album, below.

"We No Who U R", the lead single and opening track to Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds' 15th studio album Push the Sky Away, is a chilling slow-burn, and to accompany it, the band have enlisted director Gaspar Noe to create an equally-as-creepy video clip. The result, which you can watch below, is a very-Blair Witch, minimalist, one-take clip that matches the song's slithering menace. Push the Sky Away drops in February, and the ensuing tour will probably feature more of this than the video below.

Aside from having the two of the most acclaimed albums of 2012, Frank Ocean and Fiona Apple have something else in common: they were both arrested last year. TMZ reported that Frank was pulled over in Mono County, California on New Year's Eve for going 90 miles-per-hour in a 65 zone, and while ticketing him, police found a small bag of marijuana in his pocket. Ocean was cited for marijuana possession, driving on a suspended license and tinted windows, but didn't go to jail. A few hours after the story broke, Ocean tweeted, "hi guys, i smoke pot. ok guys, bye... hi guys, i drive a m3. that bitch fast..ok guys, bye. :)", so, unlike Fiona, he doesn't seem too bothered by the incident.

For those of us who don't watch The Simpsons on a regular basis anymore, there might be a reason to (briefly) return to Springfield: Tom Waits is guest-starring on this weekend's episode! Waits plays a survivalist who's preparing for the end of the world, which sounds like a role Tom Waits would slip right into. In other television-related news, Kendrick Lamar will make an appearance on Saturday Night Live on January 26th, where - if we're lucky - Kendrick will work with SNL's ace graphics department to recreate this.
