Last week the straight outta the mosh pit quartet The Men released the first song from their upcoming album New Moon - "Electric" carries on their direct and loud, but sincere and present, approach to punk. If anything can remind us what it's like to sweat gallons at a show and wash it all down with a cold beer, "Electric" definitely can. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds released a lyric video for their "Jubilee Street" from their upcoming album Push The Sky Away out February 19th. Moody vocals are backed by lovely instrumentation as Nick Cave fills the song with mournful soul - "She had a little black book - and my name was written on every page" he sings. [Pitchfork]

In advance of their newly announced and long awaited debut full-length, Seattle band Pickwick are releasing a 3-song covers EP tomorrow, January 15th. Today, you can download Richard Swift's “Lady Luck,” featuring Sharon Van Etten as guest vocalist, on their website (and listen to it below). The LP, Can’t Talk Medicine, will follow on March 12, just in time for SXSW.

Witty herald Mac Demarco released a new video for his "Dreamin" - featuring Demarco turned Mozart by sporting some truly lovely lipstick, a dapper wig, and (hopefully) a Viceroy dangling from his mouth. In the end he's slime covered and lost in dreams. Check it out below. [Impose]

San Diego's Tropical Popsicle released a new Kubrickian video for "Ghost Beacons" - and though the sound on this particular song might not be as dark as they are often labeled, the video's weirdness makes up for it. Catch it below. [Impose]

In local and nearby news, Seattle producer Kid Smpl has been making big, slow, warm, calm waves with his remix of The xx's "Fiction", and Vancouver punks Nu Sensae released this strobe heavy video for their track "Spit Gifting". Catch both below. [Fader, Fader]

In case it was possible for you to miss these three announcements, here they are - Destiny's Child have released their new single "Nuclear," which you can listen to here, Justin Timberlake (yes) released his first track in years on his countdown site, and Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray and TV celebrity is hosting his own boat festival "Mark McGrath & Friends".
