On Tuesday night, Big Freedia and Don’t Talk to the Cops are at Neumos, and on Wednesday, Adam Green & Binki Shapiro are at Barboza. On Thursday night, we celebrate Soundgarden‘s return to Seattle (and a new album Telephantasm) with one of two nights at Paramount Theatre. Blooper, Detective Agency, and Zebra Hunt are at Sunset Tavern, and Juan de Marcos & The Afro-Cuban All Stars finish the week at Jazz Alley. On Friday night, a great show with Ra Ra Riot and Cayucas at Neptune Theatre, Smokey Brights, River Giant, Josiah Johnson and Charity Rose Thielen are at Tractor Tavern, Kay Kay & His Weathered Underground, The Emerald City Soul Club, and Cascadia ’10 are at Columbia City Theater, Kultur Shock and Chervona are at Chop Suey, and Mark Kozelek is at Benaroya Hall. On Saturday night, there’s an amazing 8th annual benefit for Dancing on the Valentine: A Cure for Leukemia, with Adra Boo, Daniel G. Harmann & The Trouble Starts, Erik Blood, Gibraltar, Head Like a Kite, Hotels, Lesli Wood & Jupe Jupe, Nightrain, Panama Gold, The Grizzled Mighty, and Vox Mod all at Neumos. Eighteen Individual Eyes, Wimps, and Let’s Get Lost are at Columbia City Theater, La Luz, Unnatural Helpers, and Lonesome Shack are at 20/20 Cycle, and Kodo starts the first of two nights at Meany Hall.
