As we rip through February, things are heating up in Seattle. Some great choices this week. On Tuesday night, “roll-up” your Mardi Gras sleeves with Cam’Ron and Nacho Picasso at the Crocodile. On Wednesday night, have some fun with Debacle Records and Daniel Bachman, Jordan Fuller, and Lori Goldston at the Rendezvous. Thursday, enjoy a killer dark synth show at Chop Suey with Black Marble, Stephanie, and Tokyoidaho. Also, The Growlers, Night Beats, and Chains of Love are at the Crocodile, Dia De Amor, Cordaviva, and Si Limon at the Nectar. On Friday, a great show with The Redwood Plan, Head Like a Kite, Chaos Chaos, and Vox Mod at Neumos. The Hot 8 Brass Band and Kissing Potion are at Tractor Tavern, and Country Lips and The Outlaws are at the Blue Moon. The weekend is pretty hot with two days of The Presidents of the United States of America at Showbox at the Market starting on Saturday night. Things stay wild at Neumos with Red Fang, Federation X, and Dog Shredder. The Seattle Rock Orchestra Plays Smashing Pumpkins at Neptune Theatre, Radiation City, Black Whales, and The Comettes are at Tractor Tavern, and Country Lips are at the Triple Door’s Musicquarium. On Sunday, things end on a high note with The Helio Sequence at Neptune Theatre, The Ruby Suns, Painted Palms, and USF at Barboza, and “Her Aim Is True” Benefit Concert for a documentary on veteran Northwest rock photographer Jini Dellaccio with Merrilee Rush, Buck Ornsby, Mark Whitman, and The Daily Flash at Highway 99 Blues Club.
